ukrm london night out

As mentioned in another thread, here's a proposed ukrm-london-ish
night out.


Firstly, a wine/cocktail tasting at Vinopolis, Bankside, SE1:

I'd suggest the "Spirit of Vinopolis" self-guided tour at £28.50 a
head.


Followed by Lebanase meze at Hiba on Borough High Street:

(the a la carte menu on the website gives an idea of the type food,
but I'd strongly suggest going for the set menu, which isn't shown)

if I can get an idea of numbers, I can book up.

I'm proposing Friday 20th August, but if anyone would like to come
along but has a different date that would suit better, let me know.

Probably starting at Vinopolis around 19:00 or so, and I can suggest a
pub to meet up at nearby if anyone wants to get there earlier.

Hmmm. We _may_ be coming over to the UK for a party in Liverpool the
next weekend. We could perhaps fly in to London on the Friday (27th),
then train it oop norf the next day... I'll have a think about it.

Ta, I'll reply when it arrives, but Flights are now booked, so we can
make this a definite for Friday 27th. Arriving at LHR in the morning,
so we'll have plenty of chance for shopping and pre-drink drinking ;-)

right, so we're go for the 27th of August. I'm not dicking around with
paying for tickets for "I think I might come" types - buy your own
ticket for Vinopolis (we don't have to buy the same "tour" - which one
you buy just determines which vouchers you get). but...

....when you have decided for sure you're coming, please email me to
let me know, so I can book a table at the restaurant for the
appropriate number. By the end of next week, please.
