  2. You know, that sort of thing makes me slightly annoyed. There are some
    of us who have to take particular care vis-a-vis things like blood sugar
    levels, and one of the things we look out for is artificial sweeteners.
    There's no bloody point having a sweetener that has the same effect as a
    spoonful of Tate and Lyle. Luckily enough I'm not one of those
    adversely affected by sorbitol, although sorbitol based sweets are a
    fart fuel par excellence...

    It was tried on a group of us once as a joke but I was suspicious and
    refused. The others I was with ate away and paid for it in the morning
    (1) and needless to say the apartment stank in the morning.
