  2. Ah, I didn't realise where you live. OK, you'd know. One of me dad's friends
used to fly his Cessna from Elstree to LT just to have lunch. Nice area,
    Cinque ports and all that.

Unfortunately, the Newhaven-Dieppe ferries run at inconvenient times
    (especially the Sunday return ervice).

The hotel is already offering sample menus, etc. This is one hotel that
needs a large early deposit, so I have to warn all and sundry, it's
going to be a money-up-front call for early January. Start saving now.

Preliminary costings suggest around £120 for the two nights, ferry
included, and around £150-160 for the single room snorers, farters and
    sociopaths.

[1] I use the word advisedly.

Ugh. I'd forgotten about that. 'Debriefing' may be more apt. Still, I'll
say one thing for the chap, he likes to keep his hand in.

I'll see if I can get you as a concession. It's £8.50 return per
vehicle + as many people as you can get on it.

    Oi, bollockchops!!

I don't do puking anymore... besides, it was a bath...

Although, if you're desperate for luminous spew, creme de menthe does
    the trick, apparently. :)

  18. Price update: Hotel is offering a "menu degustation" for a bit more
dosh. Or it's a fairly basic 4-course menu.

The MD looks rather fine, and would make this something of a gastronomic
event. So I've said we'll go for it.

Cost therefore is going to be in the region of £130, ferries included.
    Still a good deal.

Deposit required by hotel before the end of the year, so people, you
    will have to be quick.

Get your emails in now, I'll get the ferry prices sorted out pronto, and
    then send out the forms.
