Interesting; is this a distraction before the interview or something that
has come to the fore as a consequence of the interview?

My interview is today, at 17:00.

Seriously (difficult in this context, admittedly), #1 stepson now
works for the Corporation of London, and gets preferential ticket
allocations/cheap tickets, so I'm seriously considering it (in fact
the whole evening's double-bill including the previous feature
    "RoboGeisha").

Need to let him know by tomorrow, as the to-the-public tickets are
sold out and they need to confirm their internal allocation by then.

Interesting how you still call him #1 stepson. I was wondering how that
dynamic was working, as you have posted quite often about going to the
cinema, training him to drink etc. Will you be making him homeless?

I have a much better friendly relationship with my ex's two sons than
I do with her, including spending a lot more social time with them
both in and out of the house.

When we sell the house, the general plan is that the ex will buy
something a good deal smaller but with room for her and the two
    children.

#1 stepson did express an interest in sharing a place with me instead,
but with my recent (lack of) employment history I'll not be able to
buy anything for a while, and it's just not practical, never mind the
arguments his stance on this has introduced.

your posts about nights out or shopping with one or both boys and few
mentions of A meant I was not surprised when you went public
heh - I've had this for the last 11 years. My lad first started suggesting
to his mum that he wanted to live with me when he was 9. She's always
managed to bribe him to stay as he was a valuable asset in the family
credit/EMA/DLA scams she has going. Now that he has left full time
education and is 20 the financial dynamic has changed. It's quite amusing
from 160 miles away, especially as I can play the "you are 20, get a proper
job & your own place" card.
