UKRM Book Club Help

WTF is that book about a bloke riding round the world on a Triumph of some
sort? Got a feeling his first name is Ted, but quite possibly not. I've
lent it to someone and I need to lend it to someone else and can't for the
life of me remember what it's called.... Two word title ISTR, but probably
wrong on that as well....

I liked that book a lot from an early age, but haven't read it for
years.....is it as good as I remember it to be?

S'funny you should say that - mine's long gone, since I lent it to
someone.

I'd like to know that too.

 

I seem to recall a review that went along the lines of "read it before you
reach middle age as it becomes more difficult after that to credit tales of
natives honing barrels in the desert from saucepans".

 

I still can't find my copy of The Music Of Chance, by Paul Auster.
