UK & Ireland Motorcycle Routes

Some of you have probably previously taken a look at UK Motorcycle
Routes - the largest database of great roads for biking in the UK.

This is just an announcement to tell you the site has changed it's
location (it used to be on bytefactory.com/mcycle). You can now access
the site at http://www.clayton.co.uk/mcycle/

It is much improved from before - you can even search for roads by
region, place and road number. Posting new roads to the site is easier
too.

Take a look and change your bookmarks.

information from this website without first asking for permission. I'd

Seeing as how the information seems to be lifted straight from a road
atlas, that is a bit rich. Fortunately you are missing most of the
best roads. Its a bit like CAMRA's Good Beer Guide, the really good
pubs are not put in there to avoid the prawn-sandwich eaters.

I think someone should award a SkoGA too. Apparently the A38 betwixt
Brizzle & Glarster is in the West Midlands. So's Coventry.

 

LOL. ...let me guess you're not going to add all the better roads that
you know because of the fear that (literally) 3-4 bikers a year may use
that bit of tarmac. Yeah right!

At least the OP is trying to share some info that might bring someone a
bit of a good day out on a bike.

 

Nothing wrong with that - they're quite right on both counts.

But seriously, county boundaries apart, they are, logically, in the
western part of the middle of the country, so why you get so precious
about people accurately describing their location is beyond me.
