UK Driving secrets book? Ever heard of it?

Discussion in 'UK Motorcycles' started by Dave Jennings, Jan 26, 2005.

  1. Has anyone here heard of this book?

    http://www.uk-driving-secrets.com

Someone pointed me towards it today and it just smacks of total and
utter bollocks, but I wondered what everyone else thought of the idea?
They'd sent it to me as the publishers have a "special offer" on, which
smacks of it being even more arse.

Googling here reveals no mention, so hopefully not been done to death
    before.

    Dave Jennings says...
Sounds a load of bollocks to me. But I like this bit.

"Under request of the author, we are only producing 450 of the UK Driving
    Secrets 2005 guide. Ever!"

    Which really means.

"We didn't want to print it at all, but he begged us"

Why wouldn't it be bollocks? Of all the books that have come before it
claiming to divulge exactly the same license-saving secrets why would this
    one be the exception?

Follow some of the links at the bottom, say the 'Parking fines' one -
and it's all US based info.

    It's crap.

    It's shite.
Try ABD, Safespeed and Pepipoo - all free and contain much accurate useful
    info.
