I've Just read this on a forum and signed the petition

Some government twat has decided that he's gonna double road tax on bikes,
yet cars that emit less than 100g/km of Carbon Dioxide get free tax

Get onboard folks and post this in as many places as possible

I don't think I'm in any position to take the high ground on emissions.

  5. From the DVLA website:
    http://www.direct.gov.uk/en/Motoring/OwningAVehicle/HowToTaxYourVehicle/DG_172916

"The Chancellor also announced at Pre-Budget Report 2008 that vehicle tax
rates for motorbikes and Heavy Goods Vehicles will be frozen in 2009".
