UK Awareness Video

  1. Got this email today from a MRF rep. I think I've seen it or maybe something
    like it before. However it is still good for effect. Oh btw it is on
    topic.....

    Someone sent me this link to an awareness video being screened in the UK to
    help make motorists aware of looking out for motorcyclists... I do not know
    where this originated but boy, it sure does get your attention.

    Very dramatic.

    Here in the land of seasonal riding every spring there are public
    service ads on the radio warning drivers the bikes are out again,
    advising folks to watch for them, but nothing as dramatic as that
    short video.

    Chilling.

    1. The motorcyclist was in the wrong track. Riding in the outside track is
    asking for trouble.
    2. He wasn't covering his brake.
    3. He should have been slowing down anticipating the car jumping out. In
    fact he should have been hard on the brakes as soon as he saw the car's
    tires (tyres?) move. The biker never even touched the brake.

    But, as he was wearing a full face helmet he was probably groggy. <g>

    ~~~~~~~~~~yes, that has to be it. We've learned just lately how
    dangerous the FF Helmet really is, how many thousands of riders that
    wear them should definately quit, and either wear doRaggers, and, or the
    thin plastic half Hell'mets.~~Bjay~~
