I personally think the Yellow GoldWing is downright, plum ugly. I
wonder what Bike you think is an Ugly Motorcycle?

There'es one in my town, that I see around fairly often. Just one, mind
you. Every town, has one like this'un, surely. But, the one you think
is Not A Goodlooking Motorcycle, may not be the GoldWing mentioned. This
    is my opinion.

I wonder if they still make the Yellow Wing?

On every trip any of us make, there's gonna be the Yellow Wing out
there.. I know it happens when we Ride somewhere.

The other ugly Bike is any white Harley. I just don't like a white
Harley. You may have one, and like it just fine and dandy.
    Great.

A white Harley, looks like a Police Bike, to me. Which Motorcycle is
    ugly to you.
Here's another pitch, what is your favorite color on a Bike? We'll
    see. BJAY

I'd want the yellow except that I know the same thing that drew my eye
to it would be the same thing that would draw the eye of every LEO in
    every town to it, too.

I can't hardly believe that a LEO would cast an eye of scrutiny
toward a Gold Wing, regardless of color.

  5. They do stand out in that Tweety Bird Yellow, and that's not necessarily
a bad thing. I tell ya what, you ride behind one of those things at
night and those tail lights will blind you. that's a good thing for a
    bike.

Are we judged by what we ride? Not where I live, over here in Northern
    Virginia.

Get my point? It's not cool to make fun of folk's bikes, in the manner you are
doing. At least, not to me. It might be funny to some in here, but I bet, not
    that many. Just an observation

Tell that to the LEO in Wells, NV along I-80 around midnight one night.
    And that was a black 1500 instead of a yellow 1800. :-(

Scientists are complaining that the new Dinosaur movie shows dinosaurs
with lemurs, who didn't evolve for another million years. They're afraid
the movie will give kids a mistaken impression. What about the fact that

    Bejay,

I've thought it over, and I can't think of a single motorcycle that I'd
call 'ugly'. From a lime green Vespa Motor Scooter to a silver grey Triumpth
Rocket, they all look good to me. I think it's all in the eye of the
    beholder Bejay.

There are several I wouldn't buy, but if I found myself in a situation
where thoses were the only bikes I could have, I'd ride the wheels off of
them and be as happy as a clam, lol. I'm of the opinion that there are far
more ugly riders, then there are ugly bikes, lol.

    Best regards,

    Vic

Naw. What worked was the, "It's a Goldwing - It won't go that fast",
ploy. Worked as he got me right after a crest in the highway. Clearly it
was the "heading downhill" issue that brought me up to 1 mph less than
he tickets people at (according to him after our little road side confab).

Personally, if I'm on a bike, I want it to generate visual notice. I'm
hoping that will help avoid contact.

''The twitty bird color'' is a good thang. safety wise.I agree.
If the LEO guys, are aware as suggested, that would be the same for
other cagers, and that's a good thang. But, too yellow for me. (bjay)

''Tim, bjay here, first I don't get your point above? '' the judging
    part above''
Where you live? etc???? Got me there, ole Cyber friendly one from
    Reekyville. hmmmmm. 2nd,uhhh, I
don't judge the type of Bike one chooses to buy and ride'. I'm glad
every one doesnt buy and ride a Honda.
It would be boring.(well, I think?)

That's not the point, of my topic. It's a
humorus attempt to discuss, what folks think of the different colors of
Bikes, and which of em' or uggggllly to them personally, that's all.

I've owned two Wings. I like em' I think they're the best dern touring
    Bike ever.

Lighten up, Tim. It's a humorous topic, for some to express what color,
or what kinda Bike they think is ugly.

And I still thank a white Harley is unattractive, colorwise. (wink)

''Good'', That's as good of an opinion as any. That's what this is all
about, opinions. I use to think the ''crotch bikes'' were pitifully
ugly. But now, I kinda like em' But colorwise, those Bikes usually have
    cool color combinations.
I really like seeing a Gal crotched forward behind the Rider, now that's

<grin> I kinda like that yellow color on a motorcycle.. Been riding this
green Vulcan for more than 8 1/2 years and thinking about doing a complete
paint job on it.. Yellow is one of the colors I'm considering.. There is
also a dark purple that almost looks black.. That's purty, too..

After seeing the Superfly's motorcycle in Austin, I'm almost convinced that
yellow would be the best choice.. hmmmm... You don't suppose miz Honey would
make fun of my bright yellow motorcycle, now do you ? Regards to the fine
    lady..
