Tyres. Rear tyres.

    Nope. You should have 1mm over three-quarters of the tyre width all
    the way round the tyre, and visible tread on the remainder.
    I'm sure it'll be fine if you take it easy. Most people ride nowhere
    near the limits of their worn-out tyres.

    I'm sure Rennsports have that little tread from new.

    The Goldspeed supermoto cut-slicks that I really must get around to
    buying wheels for have...welll...not really any tread at all.

    My view is, as long as you're not down to the canvas: game on.

    Except that slicks are as thick as the new tread on regular tires,
    right? So if your tires are worn that far, there's very little rubber
    left.

    Why does everyone seem to be asking about tyre legality, when all they
    need to do is get off their arses and pop down their local
    garage/motorspares dealer and buy a tyre tread depth guage.

    Then they can work out for themsleves.
