Tyres, a mission.

    But in essesnce it's because of the nature of your riding, not the
    roads on which you're doing it. A ten minute ride on those roads is
    going to involve lots of braking and accelerating compared with a four
    hour ride at constant speed on an autobahn.

    Strangely, I rarely use my brakes, although I have been known to accelerate
    occasionally. No, it's the tyres. They're true sports tyres and basically,
    they're crap when it comes to mileage, but I knew that when I fitted them,
    although at the time I never took the wife on the bike. Now I do and it's
    even more of a struggle for the tyres. What I need is a sports touring tyre,
    like the Azaro 45's/46's Lozzo
    suggested.

    They'll give me more grip than I can use, but they'll give it for longer.
