  1. ok I need to buy lots of tyres [1]

where's the best place doing deals?

[1] two for the B12 (probably avon azaro), rear for the trumpet (010
and if I cant get one of them then a pair) and probably a pair for
himselfs 9R (he had 207RRs last time)

You can still get 010s there? They have been discontinued here and
evidently the 014s aren't as sticky.

You should be able to. I had a pair of 014s fitted at the weekend. Chap said
the 014 was meant to replace the 010 but Bridgestone are still listing it
and they can still get them. BTW, this was Sterling Motorcycles in
Bracknell. I'm sure FWR still do them too, on one of their Pair Deals.

Will you let me know what you think of them and how they compare with the
    012/011 OEMs on the gixer?

Can't really say as the original 012/011 tyres were a bit shot when I got
the bike and completely squared off.

The 014s seem to get good write ups on the SOC discussion forums tho.

    Kiran says...
014s are fitted to the K5 Gixer thou, and every hack that's ridden that
bike really rated them. I'm seriously considering them for the 9R cos
they are relatively cheap as well.

Actually, one of the *blue* bar ends fell off when I was out on Sunday.
Saved me taking it off I suppose. Maybe I'll get some clear indicators, eh?

    They aren't?

Hmm, I've found them just as good as 010's, for what that's worth.

(ie slow, in the wet etc :) )

    premises" ;-)

    No, you didn't.

I'm not sure who the perpetrators were, but I know who their target was.
That little to-do was another reason I stopped doing the DFV thing.

The only name I can remember in connection with this nonsense was
    Jasmine's.

I'm sure I have heard more rumours, but I've forgotten now.
