I owe the CB9 some new Pilot Powers. anyone had any experience with any
of the inner city Melbourne workshops? Ie good deals, good work, fast
    turnaround, nice blokes, etc?

I say CBD as I'm hoping to get it done in the space of a work day.

    Cheers

I've had tyres fitted at Bob Janes on the roundabout in Elizabeth St.
They have a specialist motorcycle tyre fitting service. Mostly competent
(once the bead wasn't seated properly, but I wobbled around the corner,
came back and they fixed it immediately).

I've heard good things about Pablos in Richmond, but that's not CBD.

I don't know if they do tyres, but I wouldn't even park on the footpath
    outside P*t*r St*v*ns.

I didn't know BJ in Elizabeth St. did bike tyres. Makes sense I
suppose. What are the prices like? I'm due for a new set o' rubber
    myself soon.

AFAIK, Pablos has shifted to around Brandon Park Shopping Ctr. close to Fern
Tree Gully Rd/ Springvale Rd. intersection.

I've had 2 sets fitted at Bob Janes at the roundabout in Elizabeth st.,
without having problems. Generally competitive prices too.

Ring first to book, and make sure they sell the tyres you want, they
    don't sell all brands.

They were within a couple of $ of the other 2 places I rang last time I
    got a set.

I've been using PS for tyres for a while. The tyre fitter who was at
BJ's moved down there years ago, I was always happy with his work and
he looked after me, so there I stayed. They do the fitting at the
Hardley serviced centre in Little Lonsdale.

Thanks guys... Can't disagree with a 10% discount, I'll go with Bob
Jane (can't bring myself to call it BJ...)
