types of grease

Does anybody here know of an online source for the qualities of the
various grease compositions (lithium, moly, "synthetic" etc.) and their
appropriate bike applications (hangers, plain/wheel/head bearings, etc.)?

(For me anyway, it's not always obvious from labels what the apps for a
particular grease are.)

good for you for that. For me, this is a more useful introduction than
