Well well... I get a call on the mobile earlier. It's a lad (who from the background noise sounds like he's calling from his local) who says he's going to offer me 3 issues of two magazine for £1. This offer is available only over the phone. Written details will follow. As it's a promo, quoth he, I can cancel my subscription after the 3 issues have been delivered without obligation. I ask him some questions to "test the validity of his claim". He says that two is now run by Haymarket. It's not gone under, oh no. He's even given me the number of his head office "for people not wishing to give their account number and sort code out over the phone". Ah, that'd be one of them scam thingies then...
