two# - the continuing adventures

The Jeep was bought to tow my race bike around the country. It's
difficult towing it with my Gixxer. Yes I do admit to using for

to take the van home at night. Some weeks I'll ride the CeeBee the 25
miles to work on Monday morning, and then it stays tucked away in corner
of the warehouse until Friday night. It's just as well I have another

As one of the most coveted sig numbers, it *should* be hard to get
into and get out of - or it's completed devalued.

 

I thought it was pretty simple: You don't drive a 4 wheeled vehicle.

I mean, this is a biker's newsgroup, of course we've got motorcycles, let's
all have a two!

 

There could just be a new set of numbers, keep TWO for Two Wheels Only,
introduce another set for Two Wheels And Then Some... that should keep
the rest of the people who need to be in a club happy.

Hmmm, I think two# numbers are amongst the most abused on UKRM.
I have only been riding motorcycles and motorcycles (well, OK,
pushbikes too, but you get my point) only as my transport for
the last six years. I have still not applied for a number because
I have no missionary zeal for the two wheels only cause.
I'll happily drive a car as and when it suits my convenience.
two# should only be handed out to those who are truly dedicated
to the cause. Not just to any nobber who happens to flog his car
for a few months and fancies gettting a number. There has been far
too much leniency and lack of discretion in handing out the numbers
in the past. IMHO the list needs to be wiped clean of all the suspended
numbers and a *severe* rationalization of the existing claimants
undertaken.
