    This is true.

I moaned about her parking technique, so she let me have a go. The
clutch bit when the pedal was about 2mm from the end of its travel,
i.e. when my left knee was almost touching the wheel. I let her off
    after that.

As for the time when the rain caused a mini river on the way back from
Dingli Cliffs, and we were heading uphill towards it, and the torrent
went over the roof, or when we "negotiated"[1] right of way with an
eight-wheel Foden tipper truck on a roundabout, or the buses with
their little shrines, with the passengers crossing themselves as they
got on or off, all in all, it made Cairo taxi drivers seem quite
    sensible.

[1] Okay, "conceded" would be more accurate.

For some reason, all roads lead to Dingli Cliffs
Giving way on a roundabout is just wrong.
I love the old buses, it's not worth renting a car when they are so
    cheap and frequent.

Was it you who said they're phasing out the old yellow ones? I had a
great time bimbling about on buses. Kids were just the right age, old
enough to walk a bit, not old enough to have started the constant
    fucking bickering I'm refereeing lately.

    Great time, happy memories.

Two long rulers sellotaped together at one end or "No, Mummy doesn't love
    you". Worked for my parents.

If it's any help, I still don't talk to my brother, even to wish merry
christmas or happy birthday. Hello is right out of the question.

    I *think* he's 27 now, but I can't be sure as I stopped giving a toss
    about 15 years ago.

It's not about ownership, it's about access. Which is why Cab (iirc)
had his revoked for having a company car, and Tim had his revoked for
    driving his wife's car.

This clearly means you have access to a car.

    the two# list is ridiculous.

As I said, I should be in charge of it. I'm very qualified.

Mainly because I'm pretty sure I've got more wheels than, probably,
anyone else, think the whole sig number thing *fucking* stupid [1], can
spot the wannabe biker lifestyle kudos helmet on the bus brigade and deal
    with them appropriately. Win win.

[1] Although I've started a club, anyone can join. We'll make badges
