    *ding*

I saw [1] an "interesting" accident the other day, walking home from
the train station. A bloke had stopped to take a phone call, just
round a tight and blind left hand corner. I thought to myself "that's
a fucking mad place to stop", and predictably enough another car came
round the corner[2] straight into the back of him. Much shoutiness
    ensued.

[1] as in I was walking by when it happened.
[2] far too quickly - but this is nothing uncommon on this corner, as
most people don't know (or care) that there's a set of traffic lights
about 3 car lengths from the corner[3]
[3] I had thought there was some sort of minimum distance[4] from a
corner to road signals, and to me this looks far to close.
[4] plenty of times I've been going round it with some knob sitting
far to close behind me and find myself willing the lights to be green.

He will unless Fr Jack sees him and decides he needs to flick the burger
away because "it's wrong to eat and ride"

I think Fr Jack is more likely to nick the burger and eat it himself.

    The fat ****.

that's the normal scenario for women. for men in the morning rush hour it's
the battery shaver, although this is a little rarer.

not sexually differentiated: the texting with one hand, glancing up every
few minutes to see whether you've crashed into the vehicle in front yet.

I'm pretty sure I'd even reverse back over him to make sure I'd
finished him and then I'm stick a mobile in his hand and tell the cops
he was on the phone when he rode into me.

I've never put on make-up, shaved, or texted whilst moving.

However, I am currently considering whether I can get a couple of
extra minutes in bed by eating breakfast/supper whilst driving.

5.30am? I've barely gotten into bed by then. How does 11.30 sound?
