Two hard-drives

It improves the performance of you pc(everything happen so much quicker
the a single harddrive system), but I had to fit extra fans.

 

.... and sticking 4 more seats in your car can drop the 0-60 time by a
good few seconds.

 

Two hardrives will not increase the speed of your pc , unless you
confugure them as raid0..

Not necessarily. Use one disk for swap and the other for regular file
i/o and you'll see a performance improvement to some degree. Or, given
that most disk access will be reads, configuring them as RAID1 will give
a similar performance improvement to that from RAID0.

I'm sure there are other potential benefits, but I cba to think of them.
But, basically, you're wrong. So there.

The computer does perform better with 2 harddrives. If out have the
operating system installed in one harddrive and have the virtual memory
on the other, the computer will work faster.

 

Dogger porn is presumably harder to locate on the net I imagine (never
tried, personally not my thing) so performance of the PC itself is a
somewhat irrelevant factor?

Unless perhaps we are talking about speed to boot up so he can get to it "on
demand" (whereby he hasn't got time to make it to his vehicle to find a
conveniant location).
