Anyone know any nice rides around the twisty bits in the Hinckley , Nuneaton
area, or there abouts. Nothing to hard just something for the newbie to get
    his teeth into.

At A447 and the B roads around it are all good fun.

The place is full of them.

Particularly the area bounded by the M6, M42, A5, A444.
The back roads to Rugby are good.
The A5 is not very twisty.
Then there's a very good tyre dealer in Coleshill, and Diamond
Motorcycles in Nuneaton is useful for second-hand stuff and service.

There used to be informal evening sessions at Hams Hall where the
police gave road-safety lectures to motorcyclists.
Don't know if it still happens.

Dunno. What I do when I'm in a new area is go for a ride without a map
and 'follow my nose'. After a few months you'll have a good idea of
    what's what.

    G-Unit expressed the following:
    A bit further south:

A4189 between Warwick and Redditch. I would thoroughly recommend the
bends between where it crosses the M40 and Claverdon.
