Just got a much modified FZ750 on the road having had it in storage for a
while (Came to me modified and this is the first time I've used the thing)
only to find that it blows both stop and tailight filaments of the rear
bulbs with quite stupendous regularity. One bulb even melted the plastic of
the rear light housing before vapourizing its filament. Since part of the
mods carried out on was to slap on a YZF fairing with Twin 60/55w my
immediate thought is that simply wiring the headlights up in parallel was
probably not the way to go. I'm not, however, an autoelectrician so I was
wondering if anyone could provide info on what should have been done to make
this set up work or is the layout as described alright with the problem
    lying elsewhere? TIA

  2. Check the system voltage.....Some probability that the voltage regulator
is burned out your bulbs are seeing in excess of 15 volts (could be real
high even). Do this soon as the next thing that'll go will be your
ignition and any maybe other electronics that you have onboard.

  3. the thing) only to find that it blows both stop and tailight
yep...its regyoulater is not the full quid...you will need another one
wiring the headlights in parallel should be fine, although if you use both
on low beam people may assume you are on high beam and flash you
    most annoying
