Twatty's insurers: they've coughed up

My former insurers (Admiral) didn't give a monkey's chuff about any
accident or claim I'd had on a motorcycle, only what had happened on
    four wheels.

  2. I had the same when I hedged a company car years ago. The answer is
simple: Because the insurance wasn't in your name.

Crash and claim on your 10r insurance, and then try to insure another
one, you might find a different outcome.

Well I have to say that if I were in Wales, then that'd be my reaction, but
    so far, not in England.

Not that I find it comfortable having Plod up my arse, you understand.

Plod have my DNA too. Arrested for suspicion of criminal damage. No charges,
but I've not done anything to retrieve my "gift". I doubt I'd get it anyway.

Good point, but the insco won't really need his declaration if it's already
    on his record.

They'll simply take him money and refuse to pay out on any claim for not
    providing material information.

Well I crashed on my Zed 1000 and the wife made a claim for her injuries.
(Nothing finalised yet though, but they're aware of the claim)

My premium actually went down by 8 quid the following year and by another 12
quid this year. Same comany and everyfink.

They are obliged to destroy it if you are not convicted and you request
it - following a case in the european court of human rights recently

I'm not sure it constitues an offence, but the insco will definitle knock
him back if he ever makes a claim.
I wonder how many 55 year old women are called "Twatty" though? :)

IIRC the government response has been to instruct police forces to
resist requests to have data removed. That doesn't mean you can't
    succeed.

We're safe for the time being. He'll still be pedalling across the Red Sea.

But that'd mean I've got to go to the Plod shop and get into a protracted
discussion with them and I *really* can't be arsed.

Anyway, "I am an innocent man, so I have nothing to fear" :)
