First, being a Canuck, I have to say that many here feel the same way
about the USA as the Swiss feel about Germany, so I'm not being pro-Yank
when I say that at least one of those incidents, the Gimli Manitoba one,
might have had just as much to do with Air Canada and Transport Canada
bureaucratic bungling as the nationality of the plane that made the
remarkable landing. In bureaucratic bungling, I'd say Canada takes a
back seat to no one, including the USA, so there.

Buy a set made to order.

You could bore out the top but I wouldn't imagine 996 yolks have a
lot of extra meat on them to allow you to open them out by 3mm so you
could potentially weaken them and 1mm is a bit small to sleeve though
you could theoretically get a band of HCP put on them to take this up.

    I liked this one:-

"Sixpenny Handley; n.; a very short time with a prostitute."

  6. In here, we'd say "Cloff!" at this point.

which, for them as are not regulars of the outbuilding is shorthand for

"Would you mind passing me that cloth, so that I can wipe the coffee and
biscuits that an burst of mirth caused me to involuntarily expel onto it"?

    OWTTE.

  7. Bleddy hell! I first handled L1A2 ammo back in the '60s but I
never made that connection. I knew it was as close as dammit is to swearing
to 0.303" but never realised it was exactly 0.3".

Wouldn't it just be easier to buy a set of yokes designed for the forks
and fit the whole lot to the ST4S

Yeah Ducati John and myself thought it was a lot to take out.
I may get a set from eBay to try but TBF the whole ignition
lock/immobiliser/steering lock thing is complicated. They may also have
    a different trail.

Any good sources for getting yokes made to order? replicating the ST
yokes with a different staunchion ID.

God knows. I just get the impression that if if the shedde were a
