My son had the rear fender of his CBR 600 chopped and new turn signals
installed. In the process, the license plate light was removed.
Subsequently, one of his turn signals went out and then within a day
the other one went out as well. He was thinking that it had to do with
the license plate light not being there. Any ideas?

Chances are that there is a ground wire that has somethihng to do with
the turn signal.... your best bet is to look on your schematic in your
manual, as it can tell you alot more...

  3. The license plate light would probably get its power through the
headlight switch. The turn signals would get their power from the
ignition switch. The problem with the turn signals might be on the
ground return side of the turn signal sockets, or the problem might be
at the connector underneath the pillion seat. So check that connector
and any bullet connectors and the ground wires.
