I have a 99 CBR F4 and recently dismantled all the plastic to do some body repair. After completing the repair, the first piece to be re-inslled was the front upper cowl. Here's my problem: After mounting the uppder cowl, I decided to test the turn signals and noticed that the flash of the left blinkers, both front and back, are at least twice as fast as the right hand set. On a hunch, this is what I did next to troubleshoot this problem: 1. Disconnected the front left wiring from the the harnest so that only the left rear and both right turn signals were connected. Result: The left rear still flashes twice as fast as the right side. 2. While the left front turn signal was disconnected, I switched the wiring of the rear signals. Result: the right rear turn signal flashed twice as fast as the left side. This at least tells me that the problem cannot be with the bulb or the turn signal itself, otherwise, the problem would still be with the left side. I'm guessing that the problem is with the turn signal master switch, or, that I have a short someplace in the left side of the turn signal harnest. I know pretty much nothing about the electrical system but I'm willing to try spending my weekend finding the solution. Suggestions welcomed! Fred
