Depends on application (I was influenced by big diesels and stationary engines) and if you're happy having the turbo going at insane speeds higher up the engine rev range - which they do nowadays, of course. It's amazing how they've progressed in the past few years. Wasn't really all that long ago they were rare and expensive add-ons. Now they're just another thing we take for granted as factory fit.
Thankfully. At least we get *some* performance out of what otherwise would be dog slow diesels these days. -- Beav VN 750 Zed 1000 OMF# 19
Superchargers. YKIMS. www.superchargerpros.com/about_supercharger.html <raises hand> Oooh Ooooh Sir, remember the Comprex (nods to Mazda)
Yep, but I need to check the forks first and make sure they're not bent at all (and, if they are, have them straightened - they're worth too much to just bin). The bike took a fair whack that all but destroyed the cockpit (headlight vanished, clocks pretty much imploded. I've not stripped any of the rolling chassis down yet, just cosmetic and dangly bits, but you're more than welcome to take a punt on any bits that sounds interesting.
Super Cooper. It's the standard supercharger as factory fitted to the MINI Cooper - often replaced with an upgraded model by the hot snatch brigade, resulting in a glut of cheap brand-new 'chargers on eBay. The M45 fits engines in the range 1300cc to 3000cc. Usually sell for a hundred quid or so - bargain.
Fucking hell that is cheap. -- Catman MIB#14 SKoGA#6 TEAR#4 BOTAFOF#38 Apostle#21 COSOC#3 Tyger, Tyger Burning Bright (Remove rust to reply) Alfa 116 Giulietta 3.0l (Really) Sprint 1.7 75 TS 156 TS S2 Triumph Speed Triple: Black with extra black bits www.cuore-sportivo.co.uk
