Tuesday(03/25) "drive" report

Made plans to visit Bill Walker today, and take my
"truckette" so he could ride in comfort if we went
anywhere.

I arrived at about 11:00, but my appointment was
originally for 12:00. (I left plenty of time for getting
lost <g>).

Bill seemed a little tired, but he rallied quickly. We
sat around and visited for a while. He had originally
declined on going out for some lunch. but after an
hour of visit, asked if I was hungry.

So, I suggested we head over to Grapevine Kawasaki,
so he could maintain his standard torment schedule
on those people, and then run down the street for some
Bar-B-Que. That sounded good, so off we went.

I looked at bikes while Bill conferred with Steve Wag-
ner concerning a custom horn mounting part fabrication.

Ready for lunch, we teamed up with Vernon Taylor for
the short trip up the street to Spring Creek. We discus-
sed motorcycles, helmets, and told stories. I thought it
was a great lunch.

Bill, Vernon, and I returned to GK, and I visited the
boys room, while Bill finished up with his business.

Bill and I returned to LaCasa(Is that how that's written)
and we looked through some pictures from prior rides.

We told some more stories, and enjoyed the beautiful
day. I also enjoyed some interaction with "Kiwi", Bill's
parrot.

I headed home via eastbound I30, but had to cut through
downtown Dallas, due to highway traffic in the rush hour
traffic.

It was a great day!

hehe.. "Hello" Bjay.. You are so right.. The Anonymous one is a
good friend.. Sure enjoyed spending the day with him..

 

Yeah, I drove the 4-wheeler. LOL.....

 

Yeah, it was fun. And certainly a beautiful day.
