    reserved seating for comfort.

There was a good reason for not using the boat during TT week. One to save
Di the shagging hassle. The other to save me having to suffer the SPC and a
ferry full of bikes and fucking stupid sailing times.

All good reasons, unless you need to cart a bike over there like me...

    She finds shagging a hassle?
You're not really a biker, are you?

For me, the ride to the port, collecting more and more bikes on the
way, and then all gathering together at check in, looking at all the
other bikes as you ride on and tie up, and then all rolling off the
boat together in Douglas is part of the TT experience. It blew me
away the first time in 1984, and I still love it.

    An addiction
Good god no, and you deny it consistently too IIRC. I'm an elitist snob,
    like yourself.
Did it in 2006. The issue is not the other bikes. It is the 0500 sailing
home after a week of drinking. I really didn't enjoy that. Well that and an
    0300 or somefuckingsuch ferry over.

I don't think I do. The only definition of biker I don't fit is
Burnt's, where he really means "patch club member".

Oh I'm sure it has been done here a few times. Horror at being included in
the term "Biker". Of course it really has no meaning any more.

Heh quick change, too much hassle double trip next week. Now on Sat 24th
11:30 ferry Heysham. It's a nice ride up the A59/A65/A683. Fly back Sat 7th.
    Will collect ST sometime later.

I might be able to take the new bike now, leaving the red one in York if
someone else wants to come and play with it....

I much prefer the term 'motorcyclist' - that covers all corners.
