    Yesterday I phoned the production company, Jester Interactive. The
    game didn't get to Sony on time, for testing and approval, so it's
    caught up in the pre-Christmas backlog. Release is yet to be
    confirmed, but should be sometime before Christmas.

    Boo! <Hiss>

    Aww, crap.
    :-(

    Actually dug out SBK2K last week now I've finally a PC that can run it
    at full tilt in Sim mode with all the bells and whistles on without
    becoming a slide show.

    I checked on the box the spec that they reckoned was adequate to run it;
    Pentium 266MHz and 32MB of RAM...

    <snort>

    Okay, so, I've had to wait four years for a processor that's over ten
    times as fast[1] and have 32 times the amount of memory to do it, but
    it's not actually that bad.
    :)
