I don't think anyone is coming over until next weekend. Unless some
lurker has, but they don't count.

I'm sure we will do. My brother and I are staying with the Bonwicks
    and a couple of others.

Yeah, getting up at 4am is top of my list of things to do.

Although (touches every piece of wood around), it looks like it'll be
    dry.

I'm making an overnight stop in Leeds to chop 200 miles off the
morning run. Still two hours from there to Heysham though. ****
    checking in before 8.

It's the pits. The worst bit is the sitting around at Heysham for a
couple of hours (even worse when it's raining) but it's no better
leaving from Liverpool at 3am in the morning as we're planning on
    doing.

This is another reason I'm on the 2AM Liverpool one (or whenever it
is) I'd rather stay awake late, and pretend to sleep on the boat
after a pint of crap beer than I would get up at 4 AM.

Supposedly check in is 8.30, but I think I'll aim for 9, given the
    sailing isn't till 11.

Can come up the night before, really need to spend some time with the
family as I'm in Edinburgh all week.

All work and no play ?

I was planning on not drinking much this week but if you're in town then
it'd rude not to see if you fancied a nice glass of wine in a nice
    restaurant whilst you're here ?

Thanks for the offer, but it's a very busy week. I'm only up
Tues-Thurs this week (due to the bank holiday and the TT), and work is
    likely to go on late.

But park the thought, I'm up 5 days a week (normally) through till
    November.
