Trust?

Discussion in 'Texas Bikers' started by Road Glidin' Don, Apr 22, 2005.

  1. A common piece of advice parents give their daughters is, "Never trust
a man who says, 'Trust Me'."

Good advice because honest people don't try to convince people they
are trustworthy or display uncertainty about whether they will be
percieved otherwise. They have the history of an honest life to back
    them up already.

And, true to form, the Walkers are always on and on about their high
standards of honesty. Compared with everyone else's, that is. And,
for extra effect, they work ceaselessly to drag everyone else's name
through the dirt, so the distinction will be clearer.

Honest people do not carry on that way. And now we've finally
recieved the proof that even Bill and all his efforts at distraction
    can't squirm him out of.

In fact, you can see every other failing that Bill is conscious of in
the same way. Notice also how frequently Bill loves to tell others
about how much of a real man he is.

But, now that Bill has an opportunity to show what *he's* made of and
"man up", he's too weak - knowing the truth it's not everyone ELSE who
is a felon (as he takes such delight in fabricate about others). HE
IS A FELON; convicted of larceny and has spent 5 years in jail for it!
Gotta admit one thing: That's a fearsomely deep, deep hole he's dug
    for himself.

Bill also needs (badly) to fashion himself as a "grizzled old veteran
of the mean streets". Problem is, Bill hardly rides anything except
the chair in front of his computer. He's also shown to everyone that
he's not even familiar with the basic concepts of how to stop a
    motorcycle.

Frankly, I wouldn't raise much of an eyebrow over Bill's past
conviction, if it weren't for how self-righteous, judgmental and
spineless he acts, now that he has to give account. He is truly the
same, shifty, dishonest man the State of Texas put in in the slammer
    originally.

Listen to him now, the way he reacts by STILL accusing others - even
though he knows it's true. He still LOVES to make OTHERS out to be
felons. Rumour-mongering and flailing about, you'd think the whole,
fucking Internet was going to come to an end on account of his prison
    record being made public.

It is an irony and spectacle of rarely-seen proportions to witness the
man who has tirelessly attempted to label others as felons now done in
    by his own sword.

Here's a word to the wise for you, Bill: The rest of us had a leg up
on you from the beginning. We had respect, *before* we got here.

So, why do you so readily swallow all of the bu$h regime's
blatant lies - long after they've been exposed by his many
    betters?
You right wing religious fundamentalist extremists can't seem
follow your own adivce or learn from your own observations.
Tell us again how gay marriage harms children, but dropping
cluster bombs on them is helpful.

Can one Really and Truly, trust any person one meets, in a Discussion
    Group?

Are any of us ''useNet'ers'' really honest to the Tee, about what we say
    and claim in here.?

I think most of us, in all reality, don't expect much more than, some
fun and entertainment, by login in these motoGroups, on a daily basis.

I reed, where some say they have met and even Rode with folks, after
    posting with one another, online.
Thats the ultimate way to know who you are ''posting comments'' with in
these groups, right? Now that is trustWorthy.
    HUH?

    Otherwise, it's a guessing game.

Now, talking about ''trust'' in regards to the different members of the
    onGoing
F-War. None of us really know, if what those folks say and claim, in
their responses, back and forth, if it's not just a UseNet Game, to
    them!

They could just be having fun, and seeing if they can (provoke) ''get

I think, all of ya'll are playing a useNet Game of Words, thrreats,
claims, and using extreme creativity/strategy, in the manner of ''Name
    Calling''.

I cannot compete, I'm not too talented in

uhhhh, and believe it or not,------embellishing my personailty, in order

I have met, ridden with, broken bread, and drank with a number of the people
here and in other online forums. Its been uniformly a good experience.
Even those who torment each other online are often civil and friendly in
person (i.e.: Tim and Hank). NART was good for that too.

Over time many of us drop small pieces of data about ourselves that helps
humanize us to our fellows. The remodel from hell, kids and college, past
military service, techy stuff, medical issues, accidents, things of that
nature. It all builds a picture of the person over time.

On it's face, that would appear to be true, BJ. However many of the
folks who were attacked by the Walkers over in Rec.moto have known each
other for years, ridden with each other and had other FtF gatherings. So
the people currently being wrongfully accused of being fakes by the
Walkers are, in all reality, well known and trusted based on a long
    history in the news group.

Let us not discount the fact that posting to newsgroups, besides sometimes
being an invaluable aid to gather information about bikes and riding, is
often a venue of entertainment. I know Bill and Brian get enjoyment out of
it, and those that respond must enjoy it as well else they wouldn't.

Those that find flame threads distasteful will come to learn *which* threads
to simply mark as "read", and which to follow closely for true motorcycling

Yep, but not as far off as the hysterical lies Albert
told us all after he he read it. Albert had been hunting
desperately for something - anything I wrote that he could
prove wrong. The spastic little fella went wild with excitement
    when he spotted that. <chuckle>
Check out my reply to Albert's lies. I'll quote it below.
Albert knows he was caught in a lie, but rather than admit
it, he just runs and hides - been doing it for *months* now.
    This is some funny shit!

It's nice to see you admit that there's nothing in your
kook .sig but a "stupid little point" - in fact, a point so
trivial, that only a desperate and psychotically obsessed
kook would bother to put in his .sig. (chuckle) But, of
course, you're lying when you insist that I argued the
point afterwards and refused to admit my mistake. As
a matter of fact, I admitted my error as soon as it was
brought to my attention, because that's what honest people
with class and integrity do, kook boy.
In fact, this time, your lie is so blatant, and so easily
crushed, that it brings your sanity into question. <g>

I meant 180 hp per liter. My bad! I had hp per cubic inch
on my mind too and musta got confused or something.

So, Albert, see where I wrote, "I meant 180 hp per liter.
My bad!"? That's not "arguing the point after the fact", and
refusing to admit my mistake, as you and your lying, shit
brained little buddy, itchy are insisting, is it? You know,
you could better yourself significantly by taking some notes
    here. <chuckle>
So now it's your turn (again) to admit that your psychotic
obsession forced you to make a fool of yourself, and that
    you lied. <g>
However, based on your incredibly cowardly, weak, and childish
behavior in the past, it's a =very= safe bet that you'd rather
eat more shit, show us all that you have no pride or self respect,
and sacrifice your credibility -than admit that you just lied.
    Whatta kook.... <chuckle>
