In which case, the larger of my Kawasakis must be confused as it's
plumage is metallic silver and The One True Colour.

 

The closest thing your bike has ever been 'The One True Colour' of is
Champ's hair. Or to put it another way, it's grey.

Did you miss the bit I underlined? I'll admit that it's mostly silver,
but with black streaks.... Oh, maybe you are right after all.
