I don't know what rock you crawled out from under but you obviously know
NOTHING about the trucking industry. Just because someone at Crete
didn't do their homework and hired a driver who wasn't qualified to
drive a truck who in turn caused a deadly accident... you feel it
necessary to lump ALL drivers into the same category as this guy? Yes,
I'll admit there are drivers who shouldn't be on the road... and I
report them every chance I get, either to their company or the local law
enforcement. BUT it's not just truckers who fall into this category.
I've seem MANY more swerving, speeding and just plain reckless
4-wheelers on the roads than I have trucks. Hey.. you know what... come
to think of it... that crash in Florida.. the one that killed those 7
kids... you know something... that never would have happened if the car
hadn't been driven ILLEGALLY by a 15 year old. The only reason
everybody is yelling "TRUCKS ARE DANGEROUS" is because it was a truck
that ran into the car. What if it had been a soccermom-driven SUV that
read-ended the car full of kids... you think there'd be people screaming
to have all SUVs removed from the roads or saying that soccermoms are
always drunk, drugged, dumb and drowsy?? I doubt it.

Ahh hell, let's just remove all the trucks.. Whaddya say. Ban 'em all.
Oh wait, then how will we get our food and clothes and all that other
stuff we rely on??? Hmmm.... ???? Oooh we never thought about that one
did we?

 

Really? Wow... then why did I go to school for 10 weeks to get a
Commercial Drivers License? Why did I have to pass a criminal
background check and get fingerprinted? Why do I have to carry a
Medical Certificate? Why did I have to practically memorize a book full
of rules and regulations to pass numerous tests and demonstrate my
knowledge of said rules and regulations before a Department of
Transportation officer to get my CDL? Multiple licenses are ILLEGAL and
the Federal government assures you only have one (ie. you must provide
proof of social security number to obtain a CDL)... and a so-called
chauffeur's license is merely an endorsement (F = For Hire) that says
you can haul passengers... not freight. An F endorsement is required
for taxi drivers and wrecker drivers... but you need a Class A license
to drive a rig. The F endorsement does not require the above mentioned
tests.. the Class A does.

Why don't you do yourself a favor and go by your local driver testing
center and pick up a CDL Handbook. Read it, know it, memorize it.. then
at least when you come in here spouting crap you'll have a LITTLE
knowledge about what your talking about.
