I'm a Yank, so I speak my mind. Not always politically correct, but that
    goes with the territory.

TOG was very gracious to me recently, and--though a Yank--I have a debt to
    him.

We're not friends, by any means, but I can learn from him and there's a
chance that someone in this group might learn from me. Whether that's true
or not, I can't say. But TOG offered me a chance to sort of redeem myself.
I want to take that chance.

There will be posts showing up in the next few hours that I sent before TOG
contacted me. If you'll take into consideration that I sent them before I
had a change of mind as a result of TOG's conversation with me, I'd
appreciate it. If you've already responded or need to respond, then I'll
try my damndest to hold back. I respect TOG. I owe it to him.

Does this mean that I'm TOG's toady? C'mon! I'm a Yank! Yank's are the most
disrespectful people in the world, outside of Australians!

I'll still state my opinions; that's my right.

TOG, I appreciate what you've done--for the group, mostly--and for
    individuals, like me.

    Thanks.

Right. No good deed goes unpunished.

Will you accept a short, but sweet "**** you?"

Or do I have to kiss you, too?

Whitches y I read this group.
Get killfiled a few times, Andy. You'll be amazed what "freedom of speech"
means on the internet. You don't even have to curse.

ohter usenet users has the absolute right to flame, correct or just
    completely ignore you.

Yehbut, no one talks about MY bikes

    ;^>

    He was interesting when he first showed up, but he's all negative opinion;
no "why I believe what I believe."

He's fun to play with, but small-time. I'd rather read about why someone
likes a Honda 160 than his crap about why they shouldn't. He never starts a
conversation about bikes, but he's quick to condemn someone for liking
something. He seems to be a Brit Bike enthusiast, but he won't even commit
to that. The only thing we know is that he detests anything Eastern, maybe
even east of Milwaukee, Wisconsin. A closet Harley-boy? I'm pretty
politically-correct, but I know quite a few guys who ride Harleys and their
gear shift isn't on the same side as mine, if you catch my drift. I'm not
saying all of them are that way or that Ken is, but the ones who are? They
    go Harley-Davidson, every time.

Not that there's anythig wrong with that, OK?

FFS, the massive book-burnings of 1933 meet your criteria. Now, you call it
"flaming," right? No actual books are actually burned by actual
brown-shirted thugs speaking actual German, but the actual effect is the
    same?

If you are a merkin, then its very likely you know even less about
bikes than TOG, so indeed can peobably learn something from him!

I think "wanker" is a very fitting moniker for someone like YTC, who
does seem to get plenty of practice!

Nope. You got me on that one, k, you little bugger, you! You speak your
mind much faster than us Yanks, even though your grammar's worse.

So, what's a Classic motorcycle, k? Since you speak your mind much faster
    than us Yanks?

    Take your time.

You understand irony, right? Of course you do! Shakespeare and all that!
