do any of you biking gurus know of any aftermarket downpipes are
available for the triumph t595 (r-reg) that will give more ground
clearance but still fit stock can? rumour has it the early model 955
will fit but does it make any difference?

Well the 955 exhaust was re-designed for more ground clearance.... But
    whether it retro-fits a 595 or not, I don't know.

I'd guess at a possible maybe as, AFAIK, the only engine changes were
exhaust, cams and injection rather than external dimension mods, so it
should - why not ask a Triumph dealer and/or one of the owners group type
    thingys?

Dunno about using the stock can, but I believe the Arrow downies are quite
a snug fit. Why not ask over at T595.net? Someone there is /bound/ to
    know.
