A few days ago my shiny new 675 started making an awful buzzing noise at
8k - it sounds just like there is a loose bolt buzzing around somewhere.
A quick google reveals quite a few other people experiencing similar
    http://www.triumph675.net/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?t=6372 It looks like it
    might have a ohdearweverunoutofbudgetandgottogetotmarketquick tensioner
    design.

I've got it booked in for a service Friday and I'm going to ask them to
    check the camchain.

Anyone here any knowledge of this please?

    TIA

It's a Triumph. Warranty claims are a given...

One of them has been trouble free since I bought it 7,000 miles ago.

My Triple went in at least twice for warranty replacements of the
    radiator fan.

Not only Triumphs, my new Z1000 dedcided that the rhs mirror should fall to
bits just as I was off for a trip to Shelsley Walsh. Dropped round to the
*new* and very helpful Kawasaki dealer ( www.thebikepavilllion.co.uk) who
have taken over the old Colin Collins site in Letchworth and they had a new
one there, in a couple of days.
