Hot Damn, I've been googling some pictures of the Saturno and it's my
idea of a nice looking bike, in a 1980s stylee like my Lario, but far
    better.

The engine might be ok, but what cruel bastard would put it in such a
soulless package? I wouldn't want to be seen on that. This is more
like it: http://www.aermacchi-racing.com/ I choose "Racing Bikes": 6 or
    5.

fair enough. I'm not sure if anyone on here except me and Ginge have
ridden (the same) one, but SZRs are great fun.

  5. I've never ridden one. I like the engine (and have obviously ridden it
in my late lamented Tenere), and I had an SR500 which was slow but
fabulous fun. I wouldn't want a single as my "only bike", but they do
deliver enjoyment that other bikes don't.

(Like the relief that the journey is at last over)

well, no - I only had the SZR as my "only bike". That said, at the
time I bought it, my other bike was also a single (CG125)
    heh - my LC4's like that ;-)

    Honda did it.

"Honda used a V5 in its MotoGP race bike, the RC211V for the 2002-2006
seasons. This is a 990 cc engine with an angle of 75.5 degrees"

    http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Honda_RC211V

Which is why we were excited over the VFR1200, which is a V4. Oh bum.

    Roll on the VFR1000 ...

    HTH.

    Paul.

It's around this point that some dullard would usually be suggesting a
    Spagthorpe of some description.
