In preparation for a Long Distance Trial. I took the KTM over Canada Heights
    to try some trials sections.
It's not the bike for it in the slightest, so I was happy to clear some
sections and get 1's and 2's on others.

Towards the end of the afternoon after a thorough day hooning around the
trials sections, doing a mini enduro in the woods
and then getting to ride the new MX track, I asked for a go on a proper
    trials bike.

What a machine! It just goes where you want it, up everything and nothing
    flusters it.
I cleared the first four sections without even trying.

    Trials owns.

    I run a 1979 Beamish Suzuki for 'bashing' and a 1991 Fantic 307.

It doesn't matter so much if you crash on summat only worth a few bob ..
    ;)

Feckin rocking horse shit, though I did see one on ebay a while back ..
but it was for a very early one, similar to a TS exhaust, that doesn't
    _really_ fit the Beamish frame.

I'd be interested in buying, but only if it really is a few bob and has
a sound engine. We're actually thinking of selling our Beamish now,
'cos we're getting to the stage where my son wants something a bit more
competitive (he's 12) and the Fantic is also getting a bit too old for
    real competition.

    He's also thinking more of a 'cosser ... ;)
