So all of the rest of us that understood it perfectly must be
    telepathic? Kewl.

"If I didn't have to drive a car full of gear back I'd most certainly
have gone on the bike, rather then pay that much."

    Clearly.

Apart from a typo in the word 'than' it reads fine to me, and to
everyone else by the look of things.

FFS you brain dead fuckwit. What is so difficult?

Loz said that he would have gone on the bike, the reason he isn't
going to is that he has to drive a car back. He doesn't want to go up
on his bike and have to leave it there so that he can drive the car
    back.

As he needs to bring the car back, he needs a method of reaching his
destination that doesn't involve leaving a vehicle behind. You know,
    something like the train.

It's not the typo, and it might be me but ...

Luggage excepted, you considered taking your bike. What were you going
to do, leave the bike there?

  7. It's not really rocket science, is it?

The whole "get somewhere, leave vehicle and come back" is
    never nice.

Alternatively (and I'm sure he's thought of this), he
could get the big ginger one wot he lives with to give
him a lift on the back of whatever the big ginger one
is riding at the minute, and then both come back. But
he's a bright lad, I'm sure he's thought of that.

Did you have a brain at any point, or have you always been this thick?

He would take the bike, but cannot because he's bringing back a car.

    Is this starting to permeate?

If I remember having one is that proof enough?
    By osmosis, yes.

I still can't see what's so difficult to understand about that
statement. I clearly state that I have to pick up a car full of stuff
and drive it back from Penrith, so taking the bike up there doesn't make
sense as I'd have to leave it there.
Ask Mick W, he'll tell you.
    You ain't kidding.
I did, but to be honest it just as expensive for Pip to take me up there
and drive back again alone, as I'd have to cover his fuel costs. Added
to the fact it is a whole day wasted for the Ginger one too. We're
talking about a 650 mile round trip. It just riles me that a one way
ticket to Penrith can cost nearly 68 quid. I suppose I shouldn't
complain about it, I'm not paying.

I briefly watched the Osbornes the other night. I'm convinced that Ozzy
is actually dead, and they have dragged in John Culshaw to impersonate
him in the TV programme. No-one can be that dopy and still be
    alive...surely?

  15. There isn't anything difficult, if you read all the words. This may
    have been the problem...
Swot I fort; bit of an imposition.
For a family of four, it makes so much more (monetary) sense to get
in a car and drive, rather than getting on a train...

But not for a car with one person in it.

    £68 for 325 miles - that's 21p per mile.

It's going to cost you more in the car then that.

If it had been a return, it would have been even more in favour of the
    train.
