If you ever ride off-road (intentionally...), or think you might fancy
trying it in the future, please have a look at:

    http://www.muddystuff.co.uk/campaign

to see how you can help make sure there's somewhere left to ride.

Trail riding's coming under major attack from the government, and will
soon be outlawed if enough people don't put them straight on a few
things. I've tried to put together all the information you'll need,
along with sample letters to send to DEFRA, MPs etc.

The reasons they give for wanting to ban us are totally unfounded, and
driven by the prejudice of the Ramblers Association. The government
commissioned a survey of rights of way usage, then didn't even bother
waiting for the results before making their proposals. They are also
completely ignoring the findings of a British Ecological Society study
of Green Lanes. It's just another way for the government to have a go at
people who commit the sin of riding motorbikes.

We could really do with some help on this one. Five minutes of your time
to add your name & address to one of the sample letters, print it out, &
send it to DEFRA (address on site) could make all the difference.
    Begging available on request.
