The search function appears to be broke. Says Internal Server Error.

Hmmm, not sure why you're getting that. I've just tried using 3
different browsers on 2 different PCs from 2 locations & all seems
well. Plus there's 38 other people doing searches as we speak. So
that'll be a "please try again later" then I guess - sorry!

They weren't security - they were models

General thanks for all replies. Well, most. It's a stress wondering how
capable the bike has to be - I'd probably make better offroad progress
skateboarding in stilettos than on an actual motorised bicyclopeed, but the
bikes survivability is important. Turns out landlord knows one of those old
geezers who knows all the other old geezers and bods in the trade and so can
find bikes (WITH V5s I hope).

Muddy stuff is a damn good resource (though Somerset seems to be
    underepresented).

Might have to take a big breath and make call soon.

On road I have a ZX-7R, BTW. Everytime someone rebrands their fuel (ie:
Esso "Super" becomes "Energy") I have to avoid the make or the carb icing's
back - anyone else seen that?

Do you want a bike mainly for the road or off it?
An Enduro bike is horrible on the road but is road legal.
I have a KTM EXC300 and it is frightening on the road. The acceleration on
nothing then Oh Shiiitttt. Off the road, she's wonderful and the
    acceleration isn't half as scary.

I've also just bought a CCM 644 Trail bike. That is all I'd use it for.
Trails, but it's more of a road bike.

You need to ride a few and then work out what you want.

Every bit of weight saving counts. Just imagine how much titanium it

That goes to pot then when my overweight fram gets
    onto a bike.

That's why I lost some 8kgs (20 pounds?) in the gym before taking the big
    old fat XR :)

The cheapest performance mod for any bike is having a mouth that's
    smaller than your arse hole

I think that this sentence will be heard many times this year in several
    Spanish circuits.

  13. It was somewhere around Barstow, on the edge of the desert, when the
    Cut down on the filters.
