How many deliberate mistakes can you spot?

I mean, the tyre thing? That had to be deliberate, surely?

    And the weight..?

124mph in a Lupo is quite astonishing.

Surprised VW never used it in their sales pitches :)

Wonder if a decent brief could've argued the point in court?
    Although according to Parkers

    http://www.parkers.co.uk/cars/specs/summary.aspx?model=1036

the 1.6GTi is 127mph so perhaps that's what he was driving?

    Wasn't that copper a sanctimonious ****?

Tucked up behind a bridge with a laser on a totally fucking *empty*
    motorway, in dry sunny conditions.

Then he got all preachy about "What could have happened". I was
expecting the "think of the children!" line at any moment. Arsehole.

Why'd he get a circa 120 fine and a ban, yet the biker got 750 for
similar speeds? I can only think it was motorwway vs. normal roads?

Yeah, it must have been a GTI.

Even so, to get within a couple of mph of the theoretical top end
deserves some kind of respect, if only because he must have had his foot
flat to the floor for several miles to get there.

  9. Yeah. 500-600kg for an African Queen. OK, it may *feel* like that,
    but....

  10. The biker didn't get a ban, mind.

Wich begs the question: would you rather pay an additional £600-odd and
keep your licence? And avoid endless insurance hassle after having been
    banned?

I think I'd prefer to pay.

I suspect it was age and experience; statistically the A road is a lot
more dangerous so the biker was driving more dangerously than the Lupo
    chap.

If the Lupo hit a car travelling at the legal limit it would be a 54mph
collision, the bike doing the same would be 170mph or so (unless he hit
    someone from behind of course)

You think that's bad? You should have heard V while that bloke on the
SP1 was being nicked. "Why do you have to ride that fast anyway? It's
    idiotic" etc etc etc.

I did once, found the south east overcrowded and miserable. Started "pining
for the fjords" so came home, then that **** Brunstrom moved here from
Yorkshire (or somewhere outside the area) and spoilt it all :)
