And which the most appropriate forum is in which to say it.

I have just discovered that there is an LPG foum in the uk.rec.cars
hierarchy, so I won't be filling this group with stuff about my VOLVO or
TASMIN 350 LPG/turbo conversion in future.

  2. Well, as most of it has been written by a bunch of newbies it hardly
    matters does it?
I agree with that - but the way it operates is getting more lackwitted
every day. As I've said further up the thread, at least the posts
should be either related to bikes or to the posters of the group. Why
can you not understand that? English not your first language, or is it
    a special needs thing?
Look at the posts we are getting now. All seem to be about what
fucking cage to buy for winter. Who gives a ****? Get a bus pass for
all I car, it's not in any way related to this group.
Don't you oppress me - fascist.
    You're a bit of a mong aren't you?

Whereas as a smattering of miserable old cunts whinging and whining
constantly, isn't of course 'tedious' in the slightest...

Nor are posts regarding shite old vans, etc... at least, to some people...
which is kind of the point I'm making; live and let live.
It's an unmoderated group, which even states in its charter that anything
    goes.

Get over it, or get used to killfiling / ignoring threads.

You haven't considered the 3rd way which is to moan incessantly about it. If
we have to put up with even _scanning_ shite threads then we've sure as hell
got the right to moan about the deluge of crap. Why on earth you'd consider
the other options is beyond me.

TBH, I barely recognise anyone new in here anway. From the "I'm handing my
two# back because I want a warm car in winter" (yeah, that was a worthwhile
recipient) to the "This week I are been mainly plaigiarising an old comedy
show" to the neverending linux/browser/signature wars. I can't tell who's
real and who's their own pod.

You Jack, I remember. But when did you switch sides to join the dark side of
    banality?

I'm not saying I don't see their point, seriously... but... for me, this NG,
like most others, has always had its fair share of stuff I perceive as
dross, posted, and I seem to be able to manage to carry on reading bits of
the group that I want to, without feeling the need to post about how one or
two others don't seem to ever post anything that remotely interests me...
but whilst we're on the subject, many fall foul of this, not least you. ;-)

I just think it would be better if people lived and let lived in this
respect; I don't see anyone in particular *flooding* the NG with pointless
posts, and definitely not to the point where its very fabric is being eroded
irrevocably, and... in all honesty, I think certainly from one or two
corners, this issue has been raised more due to other backbiting that has
been going on, than the actual stated complaint.

'Yes, and peace and goodwill to all you other fuckers, too!'

    ;-)

  17. Have you ever read the charter? It certainly does not say what you are
    claiming.

    http://www.usenet.org.uk/uk.rec.motorcycles.html

I suggest you read it and then you'll look a bit less like a total fool.
