Anyone got one of these on their bike?
Not something I've come across on two wheels but would mean getting your
bike back if it gets nicked...

Usually only fitted to £expensives & wrong postcodes as part of the
insurance stipulations. Works well too, I've recovered several vehicles
where within minutes the owner has received a phone call telling them their
vehicle is moving without the ignition being on.

Problem is it does nothing to actually stop the vehicle being stolen, apart
from a deterrant if the toerags have the intelligence to think about it. If
they have the keys (carjack, burglary) it needs you to inform them that the
    vehicle is stolen.

All it does is tell you post theft where the vehicle is, which I feel is
more of a benefit to the insewerance co' than the owner.

I don't see the need for them unless it's a condition of your insurance,
much better to spend the money on safeguards to actually stop it being
    stolen in the first place.
