I've not been in a fight for some years (2001) and that was when, in a
pub in Hampstead, I told someone they were "a has-been; only allowing the
rumours about them standing against the General Secretary (they'd denied
privately) to continue publically as it gave them a kudos and credibility
they'd long ago squandered in a haze of alcoholism"

It got a bit pushy shovey at that point.

I don't start fights I just inform people what I think of them; a sort of
    truth tourettes. Unfortunately.

The buzzwords come from your company, not mine. We just sell more of
    it than you do :)

Osama's plan hasn't meant that my maid has stopped cleaning my shoes,
so we're not quite at "nightmare" status.

Not *exactly* what you were talking about, but here are a few facts on
    economic matters:

on a standard 37 hr week that's 30K yr. Very reasonable for migrating
data I'd say, it's hardly rocket science.

    I think so too.
well, I'll be in Spain in the summer (not sure where yet, somewhere
near Malaga, most likely), but I'll not have a bike with me.

  13. The RGV would really like Lydden.

Otherwise, can I suggest Jerez de la Frontera?

Well, I know 17 quid an hour is actually a pretty good wage anyway,
at least 10 grand a year above the national average.

But it's still fairly pointless taking the shite of being self
    employed for that.

    in which direction?

We're looking at staying in the villa owned by a friend of a friend
    near Alhaurin el Grande.
But we might got to Catalonia instead.

    Uh! "Ex-pats r us".
I presume you mean Catalunya (or Cataluña).

Uh! "Catalanes r us". (Sorry Domenec).

yeah, it would be not that far from you, I think.
err, yes - I've no idea (other than the fact I was drinking last night)
    why I typed "Catalonia".

That's it! I mean, no, I wasn't listening to the
horrific-car-crash-faced singer you refer to; Angie was playing the
first Lemon Jelly CD[1] earlier last evening.
    Fascinating, how the mind works!
