Ah right, that's me out then. I've not done any track days in this country, but have started to get the bug after doing a couple in France.

Well I've just booked myself on so even if you don't fancy doing the trackday, if you're in the area pop along and say hello as I'm doing my sad 'johnny no mates' impression and going up all on my own.
Was there on tuesday - superb track! Couldn't get Redgate right (first r/hand after start) at first and ran through the gravel trap at one point, out the other side and back onto the track though :-D Craner Curves is awesome. Flat out, knee down left hander there, round the outside of everyone on a wide line as they all keep tight and try to clip the apex. Fantastic feeling as you're going a good 30mph faster! Coppice is another tricky one - again it can be done a lot quicker than you think if you get it right. The only problem is that the corner is beyond the crest and so it's hard to take it by sight. It can also catch you out as well! Great fun, can't wait to race there next weekend.

Pah! Coppice shmoppice. Mind you at least there is *loads* of nice soft kitty litter there for one to 'excursion' into. ) -- Alex BMW R1150GS DIAABTCOD#3 MSWF#4 UKRMFBC#6 Ibw#35 BOB#8 http://www.team-ukrm.co.uk Windy's "little soldier"
I'd imagine it would cripple a full system but for some at least it saves having to remove it just to do Donington. I'll be there there on the spangly new road bike though so no probs for me, I hope!
I'm not convinced Daz is intermediate group stuff either. I'd go but I've just spent around that sum of money on bits for the mtb and now don't have any spare.
Last minute availability so they were the only spaces available. I'm also on the road bike so I'll be taking it "easy". <snip>
You've just told us the parents have gone AWOL so why not come along? You could also bring that tank bag along for me ). Seriously mate there are spaces left so if you've got the cash I'd heartily recommend it.
Daz says... It's just tooooo tempting. I don't know what the grown ups might say when they get back. I might be gorounded for life.
