Buy a toy of some description (preferably suited to a child) and an okky
strap. Use the strap to attach toy to bike in some fashion. Turn up at the
designated time on the designated day. Join the procession. Donate the toy
to whatever charity is receiving them, unless of course you're so attached to
it that you can't part with it. Feel good about yourself. Wave at small
children. Tootle your horn when you see a TV crew. If getting your face and
or bike on TV is important to you, you'll find that the bigger the toy the
    more attention you attract.

Take Bracks and give it to the manson family would you? Strap him to
the back of your bike with 30 feet of chain and drag the **** there.

Apparently, the Adelaide toy run is on December 14. I've never been on a toy
run before, can anyone provide further details?

That seems to sum up the general idea, but I was after more specific
information (time, meeting place, route etc.)...
