Or maps to assist in the art of touring... any recommendations? Not atlas style (will need to fold and place in tank bag) and immediate interest is northern France and Belgium. -- jeremy '02 Fazer 600 in blue _______________________________________ jeremy at hireserve dot com

The 1:200,000 Michelin Series (230-245) were ideal, but AFAICT they've stopped making them. They now do a larger scale, which means more maps and more expense. 1:200,000 is, in our experience, the best compromise between space and accuracy. We now buy a 1:200,000 Michelin Road Atlas every year or two and rip pages out it to take with us!

The one I have of the UK is pretty good - though it's at a high scale so good for A-B but not so good for 'interesting' A-B. Motrex now do a version, available in M&P and the like.
