Well, perhaps. I'm not convinced, tho - the second URL does redirect
to a real bike on the aussie ebay. But, you know how gullible I am.

Aye, I was, but not in the immediate future more like spring of next
year, and I won't be there long enough to justify the hassle of buying
and selling a bike.

 

Actually I'm probably going to Brisvegas for a couple of weeks next

How about a case or 2 of larger + whatever it costs to put me on your
insurance? I shan't be using it that much as I'll be mostly heading off
to Lizard Island or somewhere to dive but for 3 or 4 days either end
I'll be with the out-laws and an independent mode of transport would be
nice.[1] Where are you?

[1] particularly as they're all terrified of bikes so there's no chance
of being asked to carry a pillion

Faark: Lizard Island is about 4 European countries away!
(OK OK; only 1,300 miles and still in the same state!)
That's gonna cost 4 cases at least!!

Na, I'd be riding it to the outlaws somewhere round Maroochydore,
pootling round for a few days then flying to Lizard Island [1] for a
week and then flying back to the outlaws and more pootling, it may be
easer to hire return hire again, any recommendations for bike hire in
Coolum or even better the airport at Marcoola?

[1] Actually may not be Lizard, got any advice on a good island for
diving, I'd prefer a non resort Islands with a bit of community, and
more importantly competition between the restaurants, hotels and dive shops.
